halstrup-walcher GmbH, a company that has existed since 1946 and specializes in drive and measurement technology with currently around 200 employees, is setting the course for the future: With effect from July 1, 2025, the current management team, consisting of Jürgen Walcher and Christian Sura, will be expanded to include Verena Naranjo Rodriguez and Theodor Edelmann. The decision is part of strategic succession planning to ensure the companys long-term success and future viability.
“We are delighted to appoint Theodor Edelmann and Verena Naranjo Rodriguez, two experienced leaders, to the management board,” explains Jürgen Walcher. “By expanding the management board, we are enabling an orderly transition to the next generation.”
Theodor Edelmann, who has a degree in microsystems engineering will take over the technical management of the company from July. He has been with the company since 2007 and, after holding various positions within the company, was most recently responsible for the development department. He has played a key role in the further development of the product portfolio in drive technology, which has made a significant contribution to the company's growth.
Verena Naranjo Rodriguez has been Head of Marketing and Product Management at halstrup-walcher since 2022 and will take over the commercial management as a business graduate from July. She brings with her cross-industry expertise in areas such as corporate development, strategic marketing, human resources and finance, which she has gained in her professional career to date in both large and medium-sized companies.

Verena Naranjo Rodriguez adds: “Thanks to the early succession planning, we are enabling a smooth transition and thus signaling to both employees and our business partners that we are placing a major focus on the company's future viability.”
The two new members of the management board are focusing on a high level of innovation for new products and applications in order to achieve the goals they have set themselves.
The previous managing directors Jürgen Walcher and Christian Sura will remain part of the management team until the end of 2026 and will actively support the transition.
